Social Computing Classifier

Live Reddit Model Showdown

A live version of a project I did for a Social Computing class. It is a series of three different types of classifiers, each trained on a corpus of subreddit posts from five different mental health related subreddits ranked by severity, with the intention of predicting the severity of a given post to hopefully identify dangerous mental health episodes before they occur. The app polls public Reddit JSON from the original subreddits, treats each source community as the true label, and compares Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and DistilBERT on incoming posts.
